Emily Nixon

Co-Administrator, 2 and 3-Year-Old Teacher

Hi! My name is Mrs. Nixon, and I teach the 2 and 3-year-old classes. I am also one of the Co-Administrators of the Preschool. I am so pleased to be in my 10th year at Crosspoint Preschool. Our youngest son attended the Pre-K class and loved it. Prior to being on staff with the Preschool, I spent almost eight years at home raising our children. Before that, I enjoyed a career in psychology and social services, working with populations ranging from elementary-aged children through senior citizens in a nursing home.

My Family

Mr. Nixon and I have been married for 19 years and have 3 children together… Gavin, Annabelle, and Henry. Our kids keep us busy with all their dance, sports, and music activities. On most nights, we can be found at a dance studio or a baseball field. We have three cats named Rutabaga, Mistletoe, and Matcha.  We love family time and enjoy adventures like picnics, road trips, camping, and hiking. I am a dance teacher at Wevodau Dance Center in Mechanicsburg. I also enjoy taking dance classes there! I love reading, cooking/baking, and gardening.
